Megan Shiver, PA-C

Megan Shiver, PA-C completed her Physician Assistant training at Medical College of Georgia and her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, where she studied biology and Spanish. Her decision to pursue a career in medicine was strongly influenced by her mother’s experience as a nurse and her own experience working overseas in the developing world. She speaks Spanish and has particular interest in acute illnesses, women’s health, depression and anxiety, hypertension, and geriatrics.

She is originally from Ft. Collins, Colorado and now lives in Augusta with her husband, who is a resident physician. They have four children, a dog, and too many chickens. Their family is actively involved in a local church, where they have been members for many years. She enjoys participating in medical mission trips when possible. Outside of work she enjoys reading, sewing, working in her garden, and hiking.
